In July of 2006 I started a blog as a way of showcasing my images to family and friends. I was feeling very self-conscious about blogging (and still do - it's all a bit pretentious and self-promoting, don't you think?) and named the blog Overexposed because it played off a photography term and aptly described how I was feeling at the time.
Over the years, Overexposed has evolved into an online journal of sorts ... a place where I can showcase things both silly and serious and keep in touch with clients, family and friends alike.

I’ve traveled sans monkeys quite a bit over the years. Traveled for work or family or alone time with Dr. Dan. The bigger monkeys handle it well. The little ones … well, they always make you pay.

Dena, being the wonderful photographer friend that she is, has challenged me (well, both of us really) to several photo projects in an attempt to keep things fresh, see outside the box, get out of a rut, whatever. I have, ahem, never actually finished one of these photo projects … but I've learned valuable lessons...
Digging through old images has been very fun for our family – thanks so much for indulging me as I post them here. I always think it's fun to see how kids have grown and changed over the years and hopefully you do too.
