Overexposed bio picture

Welcome to Overexposed

In July of 2006 I started a blog as a way of showcasing my images to family and friends.  I was feeling very self-conscious about blogging (and still do - it's all a bit pretentious and self-promoting, don't you think?) and named the blog Overexposed because it played off a photography term and aptly described how I was feeling at the time.

Over the years, Overexposed has evolved into an online journal of sorts ... a place where I can showcase things both silly and serious and keep in touch with clients, family and friends alike.

Thank you (so very much) for stopping by.

xoxo,

Rebecca

Let It Snow!

We traded in warm, sunny North Carolina for a snowy Rocky Mountain Christmas with my family.  The best part?  They didn’t know we were coming until we showed up with a big SURPRISE on Christmas morning!
Happy Holidays,
R.

First Light

Hard as he tried he couldn’t get his tired Mommy out of bed this morning.  Then he stepped over to the window and the first of the morning light broke through the trees and kissed his little face . . .

Tickled Pink

Yesterday afternoon a delivery man appeared at my door and brought in 5 gorgeous bouquets of pink flowers from my 2 best-buddies Maddie and Bella and their wonderful Mom.  The note read, "Just a little start on your pink-tuary."
(insert BIG grins here!!!)
I’ve distributed the arrangements throughout the house and everywhere I turn I’m blessed not...

Feeling the Need to Think Pink

I’ve mentioned it before, but I grew up in a house with 5 girls.  We were all about twirly dresses with puffed sleeves, dancing ballet with toe-shoes made out of socks and duck tape, and pink bedroom walls with pink bedspreads.  Now don’t get me wrong – I love my monkeys and all of their...
