My intention was to post this blog last week, but then I woke up in the mountains at 9000 feet elevation light headed, dizzy, nauseated and so clumsy it was comical.
Thankfully, oohing over all the gorgeous views and amazing wildlife doesn’t require a fully oxygenated brain. Composing a coherent sentence does, however. Thus, the late post. Altitude sickness is wild and I should have known better than to plan to work at the cabin. Lesson learned!
Despite the thin air, the mountains and the time with family filled my soul. I look forward to my trips out west all year. Here are a few photos, if you’d like a glimpse into our time so far:
Isn’t Utah gorgeous?
Annnnnyway, onto menopause-related stuff. Yesterday, I posted the latest in my series on menopause hormone therapy, which is about the 2002 breast cancer scare that still has huge implications for you today. You can read it by clicking on the article below.
I highly recommend reading the post since there is a lot of misinformation about MHT and breast cancer, both on social media and in the medical community.
Also, in case you need to catch up, the first post in my series on MHT is below.
Next week I’ll be diving into what symptoms menopause hormone therapy treats. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t treat everything you hear about on social media. But, that doesn’t mean MHT can’t be a total game changer for some women.
Until then,
Rebecca
P.S. My friends who follow Utah influencers always want to know if I go to Swig when I’m in town. And the answer is yes. Every day. Sometimes twice. It’s not a problem, it’s a privilege. 😂
